Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Uruguay: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of navigation and maps applications in Uruguay on a unified platform showcased intriguing trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the top five applications in this category.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads peak at about 6.6K in mid-April, before experiencing fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 3.9K downloads in the final week of June. The app maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users slightly declining from around 239K to approximately 202K by the end of the quarter.

Google Maps Go had a steady download rate, starting at 2.4K and ending at 2.1K weekly downloads. Active users showed a dynamic trend, beginning at nearly 1.2M, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, closing at approximately 1.1M.

Google Earth experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 1.3K and decreasing to around 741 by the end of June. The app's weekly active users saw a minor decline from 4.7K to about 4.1K.
